The following list of 18 classes and four awards are those to be included in a CaPrA Sanctioned Show. Fleece Competitions should include Classes 2 thru 18. The classes may be split and/or combined in terms of color (white or colored) and age yearling and two year olds, adult and aged), but not gender, at the sole discretion of the Judge as determined on the day of the show in an effort to eliminate classes with less than five or more than twenty animals entered. In combined classes, the judge should know the age of the animal. Sifting of entries shall be done by the Show Superintendent and shall be limited to the presence of obvious communicable diseases and the absence of a necessary body part (such as testes, legs, feet and horns). The judge reserves the right to ask any unsuitable animals to leave the ring. All entries must be identified by a name and/or tag number and a herd code, and must be referred to by both tag number or name AND herd code in all official pronouncements and publications. Open Show Grand Champion Buck and Doe shall be entered into the Official CaPrA Record Book of Outstanding Sires and Dams. The Judge reserves the right to not place any Champion or Grand Champion if he or she does not feel any animals qualify as outstanding. Each breeder, owner and/or exhibitor is limited to two entries in each class. If two classes are combined, entries are limited to four, etc. The Open Show is open to everyone and the Junior Show is limited to owner/exhibitors under 19 years of age. However, Junior Show entries may not also compete in the Open Show, with the exception of Class 15. The Junior Show shall take place in it's entirety before the Open Show. Classes 1 through 15 should be included in the Junior Show with the Open Show incorporating Classes 16 to 18. Class 15, Best of Show, shall combine the Open and Junior Show Champions. Entry fees shall be charged for Classes 1 to 18 only and are determined at the sole discretion of the events' Show Committee. Ribbons through at least 5th place shall be awarded for Classes 1 - 12 with Rosettes, Banners, Plaques and/or Certificates for Classes 13 - 18 and the four awards at the events' Show Committee's discretion.
